Day 9 - Waterworld

Day 9 is fairly easy to describe -- we went to Waterworld and played all day!  Bow hadn't ever been to a water park, so she was super-excited to go!  We did almost every ride during the day and left about a half hour before the park was supposed to close (because a thunderstorm was coming in and the skinny girls were freezing cold).  It was a great day to be there and we had a lot of fun. 

We were supposed to set up a tent and camp after Waterworld, but I decided that was far too much trouble, so I reserved a suite at the Marriott near Waterworld and we sacked out in a hotel for the night.

We also decided to go to see The Avengers that night since David really wanted to see it and we hadn't had a chance since it came out.  There was a theatre right across the road from our hotel, so everyone took a quick shower and headed out to find something to eat before the 9:55 showing.  Luckily there was a Thai restaurant that was in the same promenade as the theatre and we had some great Thai food at Tuk Tuk in Westminster, CO. 

When we got to the movie theatre, I have to say it is the nicest one I've ever been in.  The headrests on the chairs were high enough for David, the bathrooms were huge, they had the mix your own Coke flavor machines, etc.  I loved it there!  Oh, the movie was also really good!

After the movie we all came back to the hotel and zonked out for the night.  Waterworld rocks!
